ROKEN Engineering – Soil and water sampling subcontract

 

Sometimes consultants need consultants and this job is an excellent example of
about a quarter of Chilkat Environmental’s projects that involve such services and
are largely confidential. Chilkat Environmental has worked for Delta Western for
many years but was hired by their insurance company to resolve difference in policy
interpretation. Each party in the disagreement respected Chilkat Environmental to
carry our sampling. Following workplan by ROKEN, Chilkat cut holes in asphalt and
concrete and advanced soil augur samples throughout the property and under the
shop floor. Groundwater sampling was performed for standard analytes as well as
advanced fingerprinting techniques such as PIANO.
